Here, it sheds some more light on the upcoming title, coming to PlayStation in the future. Reconfiguring the horror thrills of the first-person survival series into a cooperative multiplayer experience may be an unexpected direction for the series’ third entry, but according to developer Red Barrels – behind every game to date – it’s in keeping with the studio’s drive to challenge itself with each new iteration. Your complaints are fair, and that's why I feel like the more time passes, the better this game will be because they will release more seasons, but that's just my opinion. The Outlast Trials was one of the more surprising announcements made during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live Show. I do agree there should be more, but the game right now is very fun as a solo player, and pretty intense. There ARE secret rooms to find in each mission level but I have NOT found any. I haven't seen anything other than documents, so I do agree there should be more collectibles since the maps are so huge. The collectibles I've seen were documents and evidence files which offer some lore on the game which I admittedly have not read. It doesn't feel like a party game, since enemies usually patrol the whole map, and not just one area. The map is big, and I found myself being lost in it A LOT. There's sector A, sector B, and sector C which consists of a basement, a generator room, bathrooms, several random rooms and hall-ways. I've spent maybe 2 hours exploring the police station, and so far I can say it's pretty huge. a complete waste if you're here for horror immersion which RB so brilliantly did in the first two games. just random items, traps, enemies and players rush-rush-rushing around like it was an MMO. no interesting collectables to stop and watch or read. up.: what lmao you have 30min in the game speaking like you've finished everythingĪs soon as I joined a 'trial' with other players, I could see this was not for me.įor those solo out there reading this: it was a party game.
